Short A-line Tulle Lace Homecoming Dress with Beadings

Black with gold rather than black on its own, which gives a short bridesmaid dress enough warmth to work at an evening reception. The bodice is sheer with the lace providing the coverage, and the skirt is full and light.

Design Details
Gold cord lace is applied over sheer mesh from the round neckline to the waist, forming a scrolled pattern with small stones set through it. Below the waist the tulle is left plain in several layers, finishing in a lightly curled hem.

Styling Notes
The gold in the lace sets the metal for everything else, so gold earrings and a gold clutch. Skip the necklace, since the neckline is already full. A black or metallic heel both work.
